This past weekend we made our annual trip to Fort Worth, TX to visit our friends & take in a Nascar race at Texas Motor Speedway. As always, an excellent time! We flew in at 6:30 am on Saturday morning & started our trip with a day of golf at the Trophy Club. Beautiful course! Unfortunately, it was my first time out this year, so I'm not going to brag about how well I played! Don't the boys look cute in their matching outfits? And yes, they did plan it!
We made sure to make it back to the house that evening for the KU-North Carolina game, celebrated the big win & headed to bed at a decent time for the big race on Sunday.
People watching is one of my favorite things to do at a race! Do you think this bus has exceeded it's maximum weight limit?!
Or, how about this guy who finished off his last brew & decided to "rest" in the shade on the main concourse?
